Here’s a recreation of a smoothie recipe I found online. It’s by Stephanie, a talented (and beautiful!) mamma who shares recipes of food she makes for her family.
We altered the recipe to accomodate the dietary preferences of our household, so technically this would be labeled a vegan version. We used water rather than milk, and we removed the yogurt altogether, which is probably why our version came out a bit darker in colour. Either way, both are packed with nutricious goodness, and they’re great for the whole family.
1/4 cup quick oats
1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
Toddler handful of blueberries
1/2 ripe banana
1 cup milk or water
1 cup ice
1. Blend all ingredients together.
2. Serve into your toddler glass and sprinkle quick oats on top.
